Rollin' Down the Rink, Eatin' CheesyMac, Sippin' on Milky-Milk, Laid Back, With My Mind on My A-Wee and My A-Wee on My Mind.

When attending a birthday party, sometimes you can assume it's a casual sort of affair based on the locale.  For instance, some people might think "Hmm, a roller rink...let's dress for comfort and practicality", which would make sense.  Other people may think "I guess I should wear my safety gear to make sure no one gets injured while having a rollin' good time!"  Also, not completely unheard of  - especially since I'm usually the self-appointed Capt. Safety Sally like any overprotective spastic  awesome mom.

However, OG is not those people.  Not for THIS party!

This weekend was A-wee's Happy Birthday Skate Party Spectacular! So obviously, we had to dress OG in the most sparkle-tastic (and pink) getup we could find.  Luckily, A-wee had given OG an outfit  that met those requirements for Christmas...and it lived up to all expectations! It also sheds loose glitter like a wish-granting fairy got stuck in the tulle, so...yeah...everyone & everything she touched was looking "festive"!

Party patron OG was wearing:
-Festive hand-made headband (a gift from MB - from this website:  https://www.facebook.com/SassyLittleSugarsBowtique/?fref=ts)
-Glittery penguin dress with pink leggins (from A-wee, as stated above)
-Black flats (from Play-It-Again-Baby)
-The best dance moves at the rink!

Too Legit, Too Legit to Quit - Hey Haaaay!

And, here are more...because TOO FLIPPIN' CUTE!!

Mama, I think I have glitter stuck in my teeth...

A girl who knows how to party-down & raise the roof / OG with her Cousin EG!

OG and the lady of the hour, A-WEE! xoxox

On Sunday, the fun continued with OG's first real experience with MAC 'n' CHEESE.  Not the baby stuff that has "cheese" made from pureed carrots...no, no...the boxed Kraft variety with neon cheese powder! Surprisingly, her dada and I didn't eat it all before she got to try it some, which would normally be the case if we were at home. #realtalk  #cheeseaddicts

Allow me to officially welcome OG to Toddlerhood, wherein she is wearing:
-Cheese all over her face
-Cheese all over her hands
-Cheese all over her navy and daisy print bib
-Cheese and rogue noodles all over her pants
-A cheesy noodle in her nose - which I successfully removed - true story.

We should have taken an "after" picture, but it was not for the faint of heart!

Great, now I want some mac'n'cheese...

Also, MB gave OG several custom super-hero bows from that Sassy Little Sugar's Bowtique - so we have A LOT to look forward to now that winter hats are on their way out! :)
