Tired to Toddler Model: A Story of Wednesday

Wednesday was a very #outfitenvy type of day.  My little fashion muse not only wore a dress that I would totally wear (and may still try to wear as a hair scarf or accessory somehow), but she also had an impromptu photo shoot at Ms. J's house courtesy of Ms. Allison. There's always something going on at Ms. J's house!  Stella The Dog unfortunately did not make it into the pictures this time...sorry thunder-stealer Stella.

Rewind to: the morning, when Miss OG was feeling a bit shy but I was able to snap a couple of pictures where she wasn't a total blur. Although, maybe that was just my morning vision. Alas...

This tired little lady was wearing:
-Owl shirt dress (Target clearance rack - woot!)
-Black fitted leggins
-Air Jordans that dada found at Once Upon a Child
-Orange fleece jacket with peplum

Tired eyes (clap clap) are watchin' you!

Then, it happened. OG saw...THE PHONE!  Anyone that has a toddler knows if the child sees the phone, it's as good as gone.  But to appease the sleepy beast, I allowed her to take some selfies of us together. I found the progression to be amusing and accurate.

Look, it's my face!...Huh? I heard a dog...What is the dog doing?  I'm over this.

Shortly after dropping OG off with Ms. J, I received several text messages from the above-mentioned toddler model shoot taking place at her home. I love love love getting pictures of my nugget throughout the day, but these mammajammas were edited and everything! Behold:

The artsy B&W photo that captures her "realness" (now, if there is a turd in that diap, that's as real as it gets)

C'mon now...look at that face!  I NEED TO EAT IT.
There were a few more but that's all you get for today, dedicated reader(s). You can't handle the cute!

At first I didn't know why OG doesn't give me "face" like that so early in the morning. Then I realized, she may be blessed with some of my genetics after all!  Sorry, little lady - you get momma's non-morning-person-ness.  Aww, and double sorry dada...you're going to have 2 of us to deal with now.  More coffee?  xoxox
